Job description

1.  Job Purpose    
The position is required to execute the CIP  of the milking parlour and coordinate the dispatch of milk tankers to and fro from the farm to CPP.

2.   Main Tasks & Accountabilities
Task    Description

JOB ROLE    

•    Ensure the Milking parlour is cleaned as per the SOP.
•    Ensure CIP of milking parlour to the highest standards.
•    Ensure the flushing of chemical lines, filters, and dosing pumps to avoid any lag in dose rates.
•    Ensure the Chemicals are handled as per HSE procedures to avoid any accident.
•    Ensure all the components of milking parlour is cleaned and sanitized.
•    Coordinates the delivery of the milk tankers from the farm to CPP.
•    Maintains the records of the milk dispatches from the farm.
•    Records the consumption of the chemicals and reports to the Parlour Lead.

HACCP/other compliances    

•    Ensure hygiene standards are maintained through the milking parlour.

Other Tasks    

•    Comply with all Company policies and procedures. 
•    Perform all the other tasks and activities as assigned.

•    Responsible and be in alignment with the safety rules and procedures as per MAZOON QHSE Policy.
•    Ensure all relevant quality, health, security, safety, and environmental policies, procedures and controls are adhered to so that employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality service and a responsible environmental attitude can be guaranteed.
•    Ensure that incidents and hazards are reported in a timely manner and reduce consumption of natural resources to assist in protecting the environment and ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.

4.   Person Specification  (Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience)  
 

Education Level –    Minimum Requirement    

•    High school diploma or equivalent 
•    Diploma in relevant vocational training and successfully completed apprenticeship as a milker

Professional    Qualifications

•    Diploma in animal science

Work Experience    

•    Proven experience of 3 years as a CIP Operator 

Job Specific Skills    

•    Keen knowledge and understanding of the components used in the milking parlour

•    Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
