Job description

• Lead day-to-day farm operations, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting, across multiple farms within the designated region.
• Develop and implement strategic plans and operational procedures to optimize farm productivity, minimize costs, and achieve production targets.
• Coordinate with farm managers and supervisors to plan and schedule planting, cultivation, and harvesting activities based on seasonal requirements and market demand.
• Monitor and manage farm budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns to maintain a high-performing and motivated team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in agriculture, and recommend innovative solutions to improve farm operations and competitiveness.
• Carry out any other activities as and when required by the reporting manager.

Qualifications

• Education Level - bachelor’s degree in agriculture or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum - 6 years of experience in Agricultural sector including 2 years in a leading role is preferred.

Competencies

• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, resource management, and sustainability principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and project management software.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• متابعة أحدث التطورات والاتجاهات في قطاع الزراعة، واقتراح حلول مبتكرة لتعزيز عمليات المزارع وزيادة القدرة التنافسية.
• القيام بأي مهام أخرى يكلف بها من قبل المدير المباشر.

المؤهلات:

• درجة البكالوريوس على الأقل في الزراعة أو ما يعادلها.

الخبرة العملية:

• خبرة لا تقل عن 6 سنوات في القطاع الزراعي، بما في ذلك سنتان على الأقل في دور قيادي.
