Job description

• Lead day-to-day crop operations, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest management, and harvesting, with a focus on strategic crops such as date palms, field crops, tropical crops, and greenhouse cultivation.
• Develop and implement operational plans and procedures to maximize productivity, reduce costs, and achieve production targets.
• Coordinate with farm managers and supervisors to plan and schedule crop activities based on seasonal requirements and market demands.
• Monitor farm budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular team performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address issues to maintain a motivated, high-performing team.
• Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and emerging agricultural technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance crop operations and competitiveness.
• Design and implement agricultural awareness programs and conduct technical workshops for staff and farmers to improve practical knowledge and expertise.
• Carry out any other activities as and when required by the reporting manager.

Qualifications

• Education Level – Minimum - bachelor’s degree in agriculture or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum - 6 years of experience in Agricultural sector including 2 years’ experience in leading role.

Competencies

• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, resource management, and sustainability principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and project management software.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• مراقبة الميزانيات الزراعية والمصروفات وتوزيع الموارد لضمان الكفاءة التشغيلية والفاعلية من حيث التكلفة.
• إجراء تقييمات أداء منتظمة للفريق، وتقديم الملاحظات البناءة، ومعالجة القضايا لضمان فريق عمل محفز وعالي الأداء.
• متابعة أحدث الممارسات الزراعية والتقنيات الناشئة، واقتراح حلول مبتكرة لتعزيز العمليات الزراعية والقدرة التنافسية.
• تصميم وتنفيذ برامج توعية زراعية وعقد ورش عمل فنية للموظفين والمزارعين لتعزيز المعرفة العملية والمهارات الفنية.
• أداء أي مهام أخرى يكلف بها من قبل المدير المباشر.

المؤهلات العلمية:

• درجة البكالوريوس كحد أدنى في الزراعة أو ما يعادلها.

الخبرة العملية:

• خبرة لا تقل عن 6 سنوات في القطاع الزراعي، منها سنتان على الأقل في دور قيادي.

• معرفة قوية بالممارسات الزراعية وإدارة الموارد ومبادئ الاستدامة.
• مهارات تواصل بين شخصية ومهنية ممتازة.
• إجادة تحليل البيانات واستخدام برامج إدارة المشاريع.
• القدرة على العمل بفاعلية ضمن فريق وبشكل مستقل.
• مهارات قوية في حل المشكلات واتخاذ القرار.
