Job description

  • Provide specialized technical support in palm cultivation and farm operations under the guidance of the Agricultural Operations Manager.
  • Maintain palm tree farming operations, including regular care, maintenance, and provision of required resources.
  • Implement the approved programs for supplying palm offshoots (vegetative and tissue culture) according to the targeted numbers and varieties.
  • Contribute to the development of palm cultivation practices and adoption of modern agricultural technologies.
  • Collect and analyze data and statistics related to annual production, future projections, palm trees, and dates.
  • Provide technical data and information on palm cultivation to the executive management for building an integrated database.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the management.
  • Carry out any other activities as required by the reporting manager.

Qualifications

  • Education Level – bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field.

Experience

  • 0 - 3 years of experience.

Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic knowledge of fruits and vegetables, their benefits, and storage requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

المسؤوليات الوظيفية:

  • تقديم الدعم الفني المتخصص في زراعة النخيل وتشغيل المزارع وفقاً لتوجيهات مدير العمليات الزراعية.
  • الإشراف على عمليات العناية اليومية بأشجار النخيل، بما في ذلك الري والتسميد وتوفير الاحتياجات اللازمة.
  • تنفيذ البرامج المعتمدة لتوريد الفسائل (بالتكاثر الخضري أو بزراعة الأنسجة) بما يتوافق مع الأعداد والأصناف المستهدفة.
  • المساهمة في تطوير ممارسات زراعة النخيل وتشجيع استخدام التقنيات الزراعية الحديثة.
  • جمع وتحليل البيانات والإحصاءات المتعلقة بالإنتاج السنوي والتوقعات المستقبلية وأعداد أشجار النخيل وإنتاج التمور.
  • تزويد مدير القسم بالبيانات والمعلومات الفنية المتعلقة بزراعة النخيل بهدف إنشاء قاعدة بيانات متكاملة.
  • إعداد وتقديم التقارير الدورية حول سير العمل والتقدم المحرز للإدارة.
  • تنفيذ أي مهام أخرى يُكلف بها من قبل المدير المباشر.

المؤهل العلمي:
درجة البكالوريوس في الزراعة أو علوم المحاصيل أو أي تخصص ذي صلة.

الخبرة العملية:
من 0 إلى 3 سنوات من الخبرة في مجال الزراعة.

الكفاءات والمهارات

  • مهارات تواصل ممتازة وقدرة على بناء علاقات مهنية فعّالة.
  • القدرة على العمل ضمن بيئة عمل ديناميكية وسريعة الوتيرة.
  • معرفة أساسية بالفواكه والخضروات وفوائدها ومتطلبات تخزينها.
  • القدرة على العمل باستقلالية وكذلك ضمن فريق عمل متعاون.
